We start the tour visiting the cemetery train, where there are remains from the wagons from
the Bolivian Railway Company.
Heading to the Salt Flats we will stop in Colchani town where local shops offer handicrafts
and wool clothes. Here we’ll learn about the salt production of Bolivia.
Entering the Salt Flats, we’ll see a very unusual geological effect. Aquifers formed by
underground rivers of the big Salar.
We head to Flags square, where we can find many flags from countries all over the world.
Here we will see the Dakar Monument as well as the first hotel made out entirely of salt
where we’ll enjoy our lunch.
Photo session time! We’ll spend time taking panoramic, perspective, and mirror reflection (if
available) photos.
In the afternoon, we arrive at Incahuasi Island, the largest island in the salt flats. Here we can
find fossils of corals, giant cactus and we can observe Tunupa Volcano.

Later we will observe the sunset in the pink blurred horizon of the salt flats, a unique sunset in
the world. Then, we head back to Uyuni.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
We understand that plans can change. Below is our refund policy based on the number of days prior to the tour start date:

4 to 29 Days Before the Tour Start Date:

100% refund of the tour package price.

3 Days Before the Tour Start Date:

90% refund of the tour package price.

2 Days Before the Tour Start Date:

50% refund of the tour package price.

General Terms

Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email or through our contact form.

Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of receiving the cancellation request.

Any additional fees, such as bank charges or transaction fees, will be deducted from the refund amount.

Tour dates can be rescheduled without any additional charge if requested at least three days before the tour start date. For rescheduling requests made one day before the tour, an additional fee of Bs 50 will apply.

If the passenger wishes to reschedule the tour on the same day, On Experiences reserves the right to apply a No Show policy based on the season and scheduled tours.

No refunds will be issued for missed tours due to late arrivals or no-shows.

If the original participant is unable to attend, another person can use the tour package without any additional charge.
