Day 1: Exploring the Uyuni Salt Flats
Pick up
The tour starts at 10:30 AM. Pick-up from the bus terminal and within the city of Uyuni is included. We also coordinate airport pick-up.
Train Cemetery
Begin your journey with a visit to the Train Cemetery, just outside Uyuni. See Bolivia's first locomotives and discover the history that connects them to important cities across the country.
Colchani
Visit the charming village of Colchani, known for its salt handicrafts and textiles made from llama and alpaca wool.
Salt Flats & Ojos del Salar
Explore the vast white expanse of the Uyuni Salt Flats and see the fascinating Salt Eyes — small saltwater pools that emerge from beneath the surface.
Salt Hotel
Visit a hotel made entirely of salt, now functioning as a museum and restaurant. Learn about its unique construction using salt blocks.
Incahuasi Island
Known for its towering cacti and panoramic views. After lunch, hike to the island's summit to admire coral rock formations and the endless salt horizon. In rainy season it could be closed.
Perspective Photos or Mirror Reflections
According to the season: creative perspective photos (dry) or mirror reflections (rainy). A must-do on any Salar visit.
Sunset Over the Salt Flats
End the day watching a spectacular sunset over the Salar. During the rainy season, witness the famous mirror effect. In the dry season, enjoy the classic salt hexagons and vast white landscape.
Day 2: Tomave & Hot Springs
Pulacayo
Travel to Pulacayo, a historic mining town that was once one of the most important silver mines in Bolivia. Explore its fascinating railway and mining heritage.
Tomave
Visit the colonial village of Tomave, a quiet and picturesque settlement with traditional Andean architecture and a historic church.
Volcanic Hot Springs
Relax in natural hot springs warmed by ancient volcanic activity. Enjoy the warm mineral-rich waters with an optional sauna experience, surrounded by the beautiful Andean landscape.
Laguna K'asilla (Green Lagoon)
Admire the beauty of Laguna K'asilla, also known as the Green Lagoon. Along the way, keep an eye out for wild vicuñas roaming the Andean landscape.
Return to Uyuni
Arrive back in Uyuni around 6:00 PM.

The sunset depends on the weather conditions and clear skies.
The colors of the lagoons depend on weather conditions. Their vibrant hues are most visible under clear skies and good sunlight.
Pick-up at Bus Terminal: We pick up all travelers arriving between 5:00 AM and 7:30 AM. You will be taken to a café with bathrooms and showers where you can rest before the tour begins.
Pick-up at Uyuni Airport: We will pick you up and take you to the café or directly to our office to start the tour at 10:30 AM.
Pick-up from Hotels: Between 10:15 AM and 10:30 AM, then to our office to begin the tour.
During the rainy season, Incahuasi Island may be inaccessible due to flooding. The tour will visit alternative sites such as the Monuments.
Accommodation may change during the rainy season if roads are flooded.

With Trip Protection: Cancel up to 48 hours prior to departure for a full refund (bank fees or transaction costs will be deducted).
Tour operates rain or shine, itinerary may be adjusted in severe weather.
Itinerary may be modified without prior notice due to factors beyond our control. No refunds for these changes.
Travel Insurance: Passengers are strongly encouraged to have international travel insurance.
Passenger Responsibility: Travelers must bring appropriate clothing, have valid documents, and adhere to scheduled times.
Transportation Conditions: Vehicles may vary in model and condition but meet basic operational requirements.
Changes Due to Group Size: If more than 50% of the group cancels, On Experiences may adjust the tour date.
No Show and Late Cancellations: Same day or within 24 hours = No Show, no refund. 25-47 hours before = 50% refund. 48+ hours = 100% refund.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to now@onex.travel and processed within 10 business days.
Rescheduling: Free if requested 3+ days before. 2 days before incurs Bs 50 fee. Same-day subject to No Show policies.
